About Excelsior Springs Hospital
Excelsior Springs Hospital is a city-owned, critical access hospital serving the residents of Excelsior Springs and surrounding areas. The city of Excelsior Springs has a population of approximately 12,000 and is located in Clay County, less than 30 minutes Northeast of downtown Kansas City.
It is a historic community home to several light manufacturing companies and a historic district that includes the Elms Hotel and Spa. North of Excelsior Springs consists of rural areas and south consists of urban populations. It is truly the best of both worlds.
We provide our patients with modern surgical services, a critical care unit, 24 hour emergency care, comprehensive laboratory, home heath & hospice care, cardiopulmonary, radiology services, rehabilitation services, and outpatient specialty clinics each month. ESH provides three physician clinics and a Health Express Clinic (inside Price Chopper).
The hospital is affiliated with North Kansas City Hospital.
Current Physician Needs
We are recruiting board certified/board eligible primary care physicians with specialties in either Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Positions will be hospital employed.
Compensation and benefit packages are very competitive. We also offer paid relocation expenses and student loan repayment.
Physician duties will include providing services in the Outpatient Clinic four full days per week from the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Physicians shall take on-call duty to cover for other physicians from time to time for vacations, emergencies, etc.
Coverage will be provided for physicians when needed for same purposes. At this time, physicians are responsible for patients admitted to the hospital under their care.
